From 16 to 20 June 2025, the 11th International Conference on Fire and Explosion Risks (ISFEH) will be held, under the patronage of Sapienza University of Rome, at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering, Materials and Environment.
ISFEH represents an important opportunity to present innovative research, share knowledge and discuss current issues regarding the prevention, mitigation and analysis of risks related to fires and explosions. It is a consolidated scientific tradition that brings together internationally renowned experts and researchers.
Since its first edition in 1995, ISFEH has been hosted in several cities around the world: Moscow (1995, 1997), Lake Windermere (2000), Londonderry (2003), Edinburgh (2007), Leeds (2010), Providence (2013), Hefei (2016), St. Petersburg (2019), and Oslo (2022). In 2025, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the eleventh edition of the conference will be held in Rome.
The program includes plenary lectures of international importance, as well as oral presentations and poster sessions based on peer-reviewed works. All accepted contributions will be published in the official proceedings of the conference. The poster sessions will offer an important opportunity for direct dialogue between participants and will be particularly aimed at students, who will be awarded prizes for the best contributions.
