The Gas chromatography laboratory is able to make quali-quantitative chemical analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds present in environmental and food matrices.
The G.C. used is the Perkin Elmer Clarus 500 with autosampler and flame ionization detector FID (Flame Ionisation Detector).
In our laboratory GC analysis for the composition of methyl esters of fatty acids in the lipid fraction of food matrices (fats, oils , dairy products) and food flavour are conducted.
